SALOMON Sense Mantra
Salomon, the progressive mountain sports brand and a global leader in trail running, introduces the Sense Mantra, a
trail running shoe for midfoot strikers who want natural motion, light weight and cushioning for their high-mileage
training shoes. Born from the WS100 winning S-Lab Sense, Sense Mantra provides just enough added cushioning,
durability, and protection to make it your everyday trainer.
The movement toward natural motion has created a long list of shoes designed to either help runners discover midfoot
to forefoot strike, or in some cases force them to run only on the balls of their feet. But Salomon has taken a much
more deliberate approach to natural motion. Sense follows the philosophy of promoting a more athletic, midfoot
strike with a lower heel drop and more flexibility. But Sense Mantra goes several steps further than other shoes in
the market. With Salomons patented EndoFit system, Sense fits closely and comfortably and improves terrain and
surface feedback to the foot. Seamless Sensifit and Quicklace ensure the upper wraps the foot for precision and
adjusts easily.
Sense Mantra also protects the foot in essential ways. Profeel Film is a lightweight layer built into the top of the

running. Based on the S-Lab Sense that Kilian Jornet used in winning the 2011 WS100, the Mantra adds only a few
essentials to make it friendly for everyday running; a little more cushioning, a little more protection, and a longer OS
