Crazy TMC Volunteers - this Saturday! Newlands

The next round of Volunteer Work is this Saturday, the 25th August.

Please confirm you will be joining in, by emailing nico@trailrunning.co.za.

All you need is a hammer (if you have) and to be at the Newlands fire-base at 8.45am.

A couple of hours of boardwalk maintenance will have you feeling like a King!

Crazy TMC volunteers Tree Planting schedule - STOP PRESS All booked up! Fresh dates next week.

You have been selected (ie TMC Solo runner, but all runners welcome), by virtue of your generous 'offer' to volunteer your efforts, to help us plant trees in the Park.

We need only a few hours of your time and have 3 days when you can assist.

Tuesday 24 and Thursday 26 July; two sessions per day: 09h00 to 12h00 and 13h00 to 15h00,

OR Saturday 28th July (ONLY a 09h00 start) at the kiosk at Cecilia Car Park.

Bring your own small spade/gardening tools, small bucket and rain jacket.

Also important is to wear comfortable working/walking shoes.

If you are going to join us, please email your confirmation to info@trailrunning.co.za, with the subject TMC Trees, and your name, and your chosen day / time.

Even if you are not entered to run TMC, you may join in the tree planting fun - but please email us your details and be on time, as we will move from the car park to the tree planting zone.

No previous planting experience is required.

Meet at the Kiosk, Cecilia Car Park, Rhodes Drive (between Constantia Neck and Kirstenbosch top gate).

The process is managed by TMNP.

Your intense trails training can continue after your trees are planted!

(If these dates do not suit you, and you still plan to complete your 'volunteer' duties -
ie and thus run TMC on the 15th Sept - stay tuned to the website for more hectic
jobs during August, like alien clearing from high cliffs)
